Enhancing the work environment in the Emirate of Dubai, so that it can be the most distinguished and secured environment for expat workers.
The PCLA is constantly seeking the delivery of its message of enhancing labour relations between Employers and Employees to the extent that ensures compliance with laws and improve fairness-related practices within a work environment that is stable, interactive, and positive.
The PCLA aims at protecting the rights of expat workers and eliminating exploitation and other illegal situations that might face them, especially unskilled workers who lack awareness on their labour rights under the UAE laws, the communication channels, and other legal paths that are available for claiming labour rights in the UAE. The PCLA sets out to educating workers and employers and raising their awareness on their rights and obligations. The PCLA is committed to the duties assigned thereto by the Executive Council Resolution No. (3) of 2011 and Resolution No. (33) of 2013 amending the following provisions of the abovementioned Resolution:
Inspecting private establishments and monitoring inspection programs
Reviewing labour complaints
Supporting and encouraging labour awareness programs for workers and employers as well as labour welfare programs
